About Us/O nas

It was the beginning of year 2002 (yeah quite some time), ten years ago when Ivo, at that time, was working as a hotel manager in Studena (Eva's home town) and one night organizing a dance party. That's where and when we saw each other for the first time. For the next three months we got together almost every night, drinking, talking, getting to know each other,, still as friends, untill the birth of Eva's niece Alenka which opened the door to our relationship. Three months later we started living together, got a dog and it all very quickly changed into serious stuff :-)) And then out of nowhere came this idea to move to England so we did. It was beautiful six years, most important part of our relationship and as much as we love czech, London will always stay as a second home to us. Here we made good friends - amazing people who were and are like a family to us and found out how stronge we are together as a couple. When Ivo unexpectedly proposed last January we started thinking about moving back to Czech, as this was always our plan.

And there we are.. about to start a new chapter of our life with important support of our families and a good friends.

Doesn't it sound like a fairy tale?? Yes it does, but it's a hard work ;-)))))

Byl zacatek roku 2002 (pravda pred nejakym casem) kdyz Ivo, tehdy jako vedouci hotelu ve Studene (mesto odkud Eva pochazi) organizoval zabavu. Tam jsme se take videli poprve. Po dalsi tri mesice jsme spolu travili skoro kazdy den a vecer, popijeli, bavili se, proste jeden druheho poznavali.. (a tak to opravdu bylo strejdo Milo) porad jako pratele az do narozeni Evicciny netere Alenky, kdy jsme zacali nas vztah a otevreli si tim dvere do spolecne budoucnosti. Po trech mesicich jsme spolu zacli bydlet a vse se tak nejak rychle zmenilo ve vazny vztah :-)). A potom z niceho nic nekoho napadlo, ze bychom odleteli na nejaky cas do Anglie a to jsme taky udelali. Zili jsme tam sest krasnych let a byla to pro nas nejdulezitejsi cast naseho vztahu. Oba milujeme Cechy, ale Londyn vzdy zustane nasim druhym domovem kde jsou nasi pratele, kteri pro nas byli behem techto let jako nase rodina. Take to byl Londyn kde jsme zjistili silu naseho vztahu. Kdyz pak Ivo neocekavane pozadal o ruku v lednu lonskeho roku, zacali jsme uvazovat o navratu do Cech, jelikoz to byl vzdy nas plan. No a ted zaciname dalsi kapitolu v nasem zivote s podporou nasich rodin a nasich blizkych pratel.

No nezni to vse jako pohadka?? Ano, ale je to tvrda prace :-)))))

History of project/Historie projektu

We got this idea from a couple who launched their website for their wedding years ago. They made it specialy for gift ideas and Ivo as is now working in IT company (you may know.. it's IBM) decided to take this a step further and do something more. We'll see how it goes ;-)

Dostali jsme tuhle myslenku od znamych, kteri meli webovky na jejich svatbu. Ale meli to specialne pro vyber darku a Ivo jak ted pracuje v IT spolecnosti (to uz asi vite.. je to IBM) se rozhodl jit kousek dal a udelat poradne stranky. No uvidime jak to pujde ;-)
